Sketchy Fact #49: Small-Pox Won't Cause Pandamonium in Animals

Smallpox only infects humans and is not carried by any wild animals. It is the only natural biosafety level IV infectious disease (maximally dangerous) not to have an animal host.

It's kind of scary to think about what would happen if this deadly virus was introduced into our animal population! For example, imagine all your favorite pets getting sick with smallpox and then dying because they didn't have best essay writers uk from it.
